Hey there! My name is Mia Collins, I was born and raised in Austin, Texas, though I’ve always had a bit of a travel bug.

After graduating from the University of Texas at Austin in 2015, I took off for South America, initially to travel, and ultimately ended up living in Uruguay for several years. While I was initially traveling through Argentina, I rediscovered my love for art, going from place to place on long 24 hour bus rides, but ultimately just finding pretty places to sit and draw and attempt to learn spanish.

I ended up settling in Uruguay for several years, where I worked to create a space exclusively for me and my art (and a few close friends). Though I’ve since relocated back to Austin, I still strive to create that space of connection through my work and my art.

I primarily work with pen & ink and watercolor, though I occasionally delve into graphic design, working on logos and various other projects. I do custom work, commissions, album art, logos, and tattoo designs, and always feel honored when I get to try to bring someone else’s vision to life. My favorite projects are large drawings and murals. Regardless of the project, art always has a way of showing me exactly what needs to be seen, and my only job is to do my best to create that vision.
